
Government of Norfolk Island
On 1 January 2026, the people of Norfolk Island came together in a community-led election to express their views on representation, governance, and self-determination.
A total of 642 eligible voters participated, reflecting a strong level of engagement in a voluntary, locally organised process that followed years of discussion about the island's future.
